These studies have not only provided critical insights into the prevention and treatment of these diseases but have also contributed to the development of vaccines for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Through these extensive research efforts, Ped ID research unit has been at the forefront of vaccine development, playing a key role in both early and late-phase trials over the last two decades.<\/p><p data-start=\"123\" data-end=\"360\">Collaboration has been a cornerstone of Ped ID&#8217;s success. We have worked closely with Thailand&#8217;s Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), the National Vaccine Institute, local universities, and international organizations such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the AIDS Clinical Trials Group network (ACTG), and the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) Network.
