Building Bridges in Clinical Pharmacy: University of Utah College of Pharmacy Visits Siriraj Hospital’s Pharmacy Department
The Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, had the pleasure of welcoming faculty members and PharmD students from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy, USA, for an academic site visit and observation in pharmaceutical care on January 13th–14th, 2026.
This visit was part of a collaborative program with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, within the framework of the US-Thai Pharmacy School Consortium, and was graciously hosted by the Pharmacy Department of Siriraj Hospital.
Led by Associate Professor (Clinical) Hanna P. Raber, project supervisor, the Utah team observed key clinical pharmacy services during the two-day program. These included the Solid Organ Transplant Clinic, the Heart Failure Clinic, the Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring and prevention services, the Siriraj Poison Control Center, the IPD Robotic Pharmacy, and the Stroke Unit. This collaborative activity reflects Siriraj Hospital’s dedication to clinical pharmacy excellence and to building international partnerships that advance patient care, education, and research.
The Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, along with the Pharmacy Department, as the key operator of this site visit, extends heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Raber and the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. We look forward to future academic exchanges that will benefit both institutions and their students.
