Short Training Program in Pediatric Radiation Oncology at Siriraj

The Division of Radiation Oncology, Department of Radiology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, is pleased to welcome two distinguished radiation oncologists from Nepal for the “1-Month International Research Fellowship in Pediatric Radiation Oncology” taking place from January 5th – 30th, 2026.
The program attendees:
• Assistant Professor Sudhir Raj Silwal, M.D., a Junior Consultant at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, and Assistant Professor at National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bir Hospital (Nepal)
• Doctor Ranjana Karmacharya Badgami, M.D., a Consultant Radiation Oncologist from Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (Nepal)
This specialized training is conducted under the supervision of Lecturer Teeradon Treechairusame, M.D., and is generously sponsored by the UK and Ireland Global Cancer Network (UKIGCN). This fellowship represents an important step in strengthening international collaboration in specialized pediatric cancer care between Thailand and Nepal. 🌐
The aims of this program include:
🌏 Fostering international collaboration in pediatric oncology
🏥 Advancing specialized medical training
🔬 Supporting global research in radiation oncology
