Dr. Porntida Kobpornchai, Lecturer from the Department of Parasitology, represented Siriraj at the prestigious 16^th International Congress of Parasitology (ICOPA 2026) held in Montréal, Quebec, Canada from August 16^th – 21^st, 2026.

As an invited speaker and co-moderator at this world-renowned international congress, Dr. Kobpornchai presented groundbreaking research on “Modeling Trichinella spiralis induced muscle regeneration shifts using skeletal muscle organoids.” Her innovative work explores parasitic infection mechanisms using cutting-edge organoid technology, advancing our understanding of host-parasite interactions at the cellular level.
