Department of Rehabilitation Medicine provides teaching on the subject of rehabilitation medicine in the curriculum for a diploma of medical doctor. There are both compulsory and optional subjects for the 5th and 6th-year medical students. The primary objectives are to learn the principles and treatment modalities in rehabilitation medicine including basic and clinical skills in rehabilitation medicine, to be able to apply and integrate knowledge in clinical practice through a holistic approach management, and to know the indications for referral to rehabilitation specialists as well as networking and referral system. There are regular course feedbacks and evaluations as well as an annual review in order to modify, adjust, and update it to be proper with the context of Thai society, public health policy, the level of clinical year and students’ needs. Over the last year, the teaching method in each subject was adjusted to be more active learning and used the online study material (SELEC program) in order to be appropriate for the 21^stcentury medical students.
