Annual Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) Teleconference with SiCORE-Dengue in 2025

On 18 August 2025, the Siriraj Center of Research Excellence hosted the Annual Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) teleconference, spotlighting SiCORE-Dengue’s Year 2 Phase 2 achievements. The meeting brought together leading experts in infectious diseases and molecular medicine, including Prof. Sir Andrew J. McMichael (Professor of Molecular Medicine at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford) and Prof. Xiao-Ning Xu (from the Department of Infectious Disease, Faculty of Medicine,Imperial College London), who shared insights and valuable advice on the research projects related to dengue fever and infectious diseases.

SiCORE-Dengue presented key milestones, including breakthroughs in NS1 monoclonal antibodies and progress on the human challenge model. The discussion highlighted expert recommendations to strengthen ongoing studies, while plans were unveiled, such as expanding the challenge study and developing a mobile application to enhance dengue care. This collaborative effort underscores the commitment to translating cutting-edge research into tangible health solutions.
