The ASEAN Deans\u2019 Summit was arranged with the objectives to promote the collaboration among leading medical schools in the ASEAN region, to leverage medical education and health system towards international excellence and prepared to work as one community in 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The ASEAN Deans\u2019 Summit is the first time in the history of ASEAN whereby the medical education leaders (Deans and Rectors) from 10 nations, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Brunei convened at Siriraj to share their visions and ideas on how to collaborate among one another for the benefits of 600 million ASEAN people. Moreover, 12 medical schools in ASEAN (<em>PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam<\/em>; <em>Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences<\/em>, Cambodia; <em>International University<\/em>, Cambodia; <em>Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia<\/em>; <em>Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences<\/em>, Lao PDR; <em>Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya<\/em>, Malaysia; <em>University of Medicine 1, Yangon<\/em>, Myanmar; <em>University of Medicine, Mandalay<\/em>, Myanmar; <em>University of Philippines College of Medicine<\/em>; <em>Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore<\/em>; <em>Hanoi Medical University<\/em>, Vietnam) attended such historic summit at Siriraj.
