Dr. Suvit Maesincee, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation presided over the <strong>20th Thai Medical Education Conference (TMEC2019)<\/strong> under the theme \u201c<em>Educational Disruption in Medical Schools<\/em>\u201d at Srisavarindhira Building, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was co-hosted by the <em>Consortium of Thai Medical Schools<\/em> and <em>Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hosptial<\/em> from December 11th \u2013 13th, 2019, to contribute and share the <span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\">knowledge about <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\">medical education to the medical teachers, educational staffs including medical students,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\">and the healthcare personnel.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\">\u00a0The other objectives are to publish the academic work productivities and researches in the field of medical education to encourage the connection in Thailand and worldwide to promote the medical education network both domestic and international levels. On this occasion, more than 71 medical schools and institutes, and <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\">more than 600 participants<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\"> attended the event<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.125rem; letter-spacing: 0px;\">.
