{"id":29510,"date":"2021-10-22T16:30:50","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T09:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/?p=29510"},"modified":"2021-10-26T11:20:14","modified_gmt":"2021-10-26T04:20:14","slug":"2021-china-asean-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/news-events\/2021-china-asean-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"2021 CHINA-ASEAN Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During October 21<sup>st<\/sup> &#8211; 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2021, the founding members of the China-ASEAN University Consortium on Medicine and Health: <strong>ASEAN-China Centre<\/strong>, <strong>Peking University Health Science Center<\/strong>, and <strong>Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University<\/strong>, co-hosted the international conference <strong>&#8220;2021 China-ASEAN Conference on Partnership in Medicine and Health&#8221;<\/strong>. The panel includes the annual meeting of the alliance, the council, and three sub-forums: <em>&#8220;Prevention and Control Technology and Policy of Emerging Infectious Diseases&#8221;<\/em>, <em>&#8220;Critical Care Technology of Emerging Infectious Diseases&#8221;<\/em>, and <em>&#8220;Epidemic Information Analysis and Prevention and Control Strategy&#8221;<\/em>. On this two-day event, <strong>Prof. Prasit Watanapa<\/strong>, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, along with his administrative team members: <strong>Prof. Thawatchai Akaraviputh<\/strong>, Deputy Dean for Administration, <strong>Assoc. Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan<\/strong>, Deputy Dean for International Relations, and two Assistant Dean for International Relations: <strong>Assoc. Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee<\/strong>, and <strong>Asst. Prof. Warut Pongsapich<\/strong> attended the conference on behalf of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.<\/p>\n<p>The China-ASEAN Conference on Partnership on Medicine and Health is a high-level exchange and cooperation platform for China-ASEAN medical schools, which will help improve the <em>&#8220;regional joint prevention and control the health emergency response capacity&#8221;<\/em>, <em>&#8220;promote the construction of regional infectious disease treatment network and cooperation mechanism&#8221;<\/em>, and <em>&#8220;promote regional joint prevention and control cooperation of infectious diseases&#8221;<\/em>.
