Between August 3rd<\/sup> \u2013 4th<\/sup>, 2023, Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D.,<\/strong> Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Assoc. Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee, M.D.,<\/strong> Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Oranee Sanmaneechai, M.D.,<\/strong> Asst. Prof. Woraphat Ratta\u2013apha, M.D.,<\/strong> Asst. Prof. Tachjaree Panchalee Boonbowornpong, M.D.<\/strong>, Deputy Manager of Siriraj Center of Research Excellence Management Unit (SiCORE\u2013M), Prof. Rungroj Krittayaphong, M.D.<\/strong>, from SiCORE-Cardiovascular Diseases (SiCORE-CVD), and the researchers from COhort of antithrOmbotic use and clinical outcomes in patients with Atrial Fibrillation (COOL-AF) phase 2 COOL-AF convened the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) onsite visit in 2023!<\/p>\n

We received the honor from SAB members:<\/strong> Prof. Gregory YH Lip, <\/strong>from the University of Liverpool and Assoc. Prof. Jin Joo Park, <\/strong>from Seoul National University, to be special guest speakers. The Onsite Visit program commenced with inspiring lectures, followed by the research progress presentations and an output summary of ongoing projects from the research network. Then, the research facility tour, such as SICRES, could bring potential research collaboration in clinical trials. Another impressive session was the close discussion with the Dean and the Executives, which brought several noteworthy comments and recommendations to leverage the research quality that should be extendable for a national impact.<\/p>\n
