Prof. Parichat Tovikkai, M.D.<\/strong>, a lecturer of the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended <strong>&#8216;The 18<sup>th<\/sup> Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation (CAST)&#8217;<\/strong> in Hong Kong, China, and presented an oral presentation on the topic <em>&#8220;The Association of Intraoperative Hypotension During Orthotopic Liver Transplantation and Post-transplant Outcomes.&#8221;<\/em> This conference is renowned as one of the most prestigious in Asia. Only 10 abstracts related to liver transplantation were selected for oral presentation and <em>Asst. Prof. Tovikkai&#8217;s abstract<\/em> was among them! This accomplishment underscores Siriraj Hospital&#8217;s recognition as one of Thailand&#8217;s most successful liver transplantation centers and possibly throughout Southeast Asia!<\/p>\n<p><em>The 18<sup>th<\/sup> Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation (CAST)<\/em> is a biannual transplant congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation, aiming to provide transplant clinicians with a broad program covering a diverse range of topics, from cutting-edge science to ethical issues in transplant.
