Prof. Walaiporn Wangchinda, M.D.<\/strong>, from the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the annual meeting <strong>&#8216;The IDWeek 2023&#8217;<\/strong> in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, to deliver an oral presentation on the topic of <em>&#8220;Population pharmacokinetic\/pharmacodynamic target attainment analysis of intravenous fosfomycin for the treatment of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>IDWeek is the joint annual meeting of the <strong>Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA)<\/strong>, the <strong>Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA)<\/strong>, the <strong>HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA)<\/strong>, the <strong>Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS)<\/strong>, and the <strong>Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP)<\/strong>. IDWeek is a forum for health professionals of varied backgrounds to collaborate, cooperate, and learn from each other\u2019s expertise. With so many common issues and challenges cutting across our four disciplines, IDWeek provides an opportunity to learn from each other\u2019s knowledge, experience, and expertise, for the improvement of patient care and public health.
