It is an eight-week program from <strong>June 7<sup>th<\/sup> to August 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Application is now open and will be closed at <strong>3 p.m. on February 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2024, Japan Standard Time [UTC +9:00hrs].<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Program details and Application guidelines are available at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opir.kyoto-u.ac.jp\/study\/en\/curriculum\/amgenscholars\/\">http:\/\/www.opir.kyoto-u.ac.jp\/study\/en\/curriculum\/amgenscholars\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A brief description of Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program is:<br \/>\n&#8211; 10 slots will be offered to undergraduate students from colleges and universities throughout Asia to undertake laboratory experience.<br \/>\n&#8211; Financial support will be provided such as a round-trip ticket, accommodation, and scholarship.<br \/>\n&#8211; Students will gain research knowledge, and the opportunity to network with other students and professionals, and gain invaluable insight to life as a graduate student.<br \/>\n&#8211; In addition to research experience, students also participate in various workshops, educational and cultural-based activities, as well as a two-day Asia Symposium.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kyoto University is pleased to announce the \u201c2024 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program\u201d, a summer undergraduate research program in life science and biotechnology sponsored by the Amgen Foundation.
