{"id":51662,"date":"2024-04-30T19:58:58","date_gmt":"2024-04-30T12:28:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/?p=51662"},"modified":"2024-08-22T10:04:49","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T02:34:49","slug":"siriraj-faculty-abroad-at-the-aprc2024-in-taiwan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/news-events\/siriraj-faculty-abroad-at-the-aprc2024-in-taiwan\/","title":{"rendered":"Siriraj Faculty Abroad at the &#8220;APRC2024&#8221; in Taiwan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ms. Kornrat Pimeaim, Pharm.D<\/strong>, a senior professional pharmacist from the Out-patient Pharmaceutical Care Unit, Out-patient Pharmacy Division, Pharmacy Department Siriraj Hospital, attended <strong>&#8220;The 9<sup>th<\/sup> Asia Pacific Region Conference of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease&#8221;<\/strong> in Taipei, Taiwan, from April 26<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024, and presented a poster presentation on the topic <em>&#8220;Outcomes of telepharmacy focus on drug-related problems and medication errors in multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patients at the tertiary-care hospital, Thailand&#8221;<\/em>. Pharmacist Pimeaim sought to elevate Siriraj Hospital&#8217;s profile within the healthcare community by demonstrating the critical role of pharmacists in interdisciplinary patient care, ultimately contributing to enhanced patient care efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><em>The 9th Asia Pacific Region Conference of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease<\/em> aims to share cutting-edge knowledge, promote higher-quality prevention and care, and ultimately eliminate the suffering caused by lung diseases. Held every 2-3 years, the conference brings together eminent, world-class speakers, fosters relationships among Asian countries and beyond, and strengthens international academic cooperation. Moreover, <em>APRC2024<\/em> will elevate the global stature of tuberculosis physicians and pulmonologists while providing concrete guidance to shape the future of the pulmonology field.
