Asst. Prof. Jidapa Wongcharoenwatana, M.D.<\/strong>, Lecturer from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, was invited to attend the “6th<\/sup> World Congress of ASAMI-BR and ILLRS Societies”<\/strong> held from September 17th <\/sup>– 22nd<\/sup>, 2024, in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n

At the conference, Asst. Prof. Wongcharoenwatana contributed in the following capacities:
\n– Invited speaker on the topic “Bone Grafting and Induced Membrane Technique”<\/em>
\n– Moderator for the symposium on “Strategy for Managing Segmental Bone Defects”<\/em>
\n– Moderator for the “Rehabilitation and Orthotics Oral Presentation”<\/em><\/p>\n

Upon returning, Siriraj Hospital stands to benefit greatly from the advanced knowledge and innovative techniques in limb lengthening and complex deformity correction that Asst. Prof. Wongcharoenwatana<\/em> will introduce. By integrating cutting-edge research and best practices, we aim to improve surgical outcomes and post-operative care, including the use of magnetic lengthening intramedullary nails for patients with leg length discrepancies.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, networking with leading experts such as Prof. Paley opens doors for collaborative research, training programs, and workshops, fostering continuous learning and innovation. This will enhance Siriraj’s role as a regional leader in orthopedic care and strengthen our capacity to manage complex cases effectively.<\/p>\n
