{"id":53017,"date":"2024-10-29T14:54:20","date_gmt":"2024-10-29T07:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/?p=53017"},"modified":"2024-10-29T14:54:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-29T07:24:20","slug":"siriraj-x-mit-hacking-medicine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/news-events\/siriraj-x-mit-hacking-medicine\/","title":{"rendered":"Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 29<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), launched <em>Siriraj x MIT Hacking Medicine,<\/em> an event themed &#8220;Scaling Aged Care in Developing Countries&#8221; with opening remarks given by <strong>Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj, and <strong>Prof. Joseph Cherian<\/strong>, Professor and Deputy CEO of the Asia School of Business (ASB) in collaboration with MIT Sloan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With a track record of over 200 hackathons in more than 30 countries, MIT Hacking Medicine has been a launchpad for over 100 companies, collectively raising more than $2.5 billion in funding over the past decade.
