On April 4\u20135, 2025,<\/strong> the Center of Research Excellence Management Unit (SiCORE-M) had the great honor of hosting its Annual Seminar: Retreat 2025 at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Pattaya JC Hotel, Chonburi Province.<\/strong> The event was presided over by Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D.,<\/strong> Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, who served as seminar chair.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s retreat was highlighted by a strategic joint meeting with the Senior Advisory Board and key executives from the research strategic units at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. The session brought together visionaries overseeing major strategic research units to collaboratively shape the future of research management and development within the Faculty.<\/p>\n

Distinguished participants included:<\/p>\n

1. Assoc. Prof. Winai Ratanasuwan, M.D., Director of the Siriraj Institute of Clinical Research Excellence and Strategy (SICRES)<\/p>\n

2. Prof. Kulkanya Chokephaibulkit, M.D., Advisor to SICRES<\/p>\n

3. Prof. Dr. Chanitra Thuwajit, M.D., Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation<\/p>\n

4. Assoc. Prof. Varalak Srinonprasert, M.D., Head of the Health Policy Unit<\/p>\n

5. Dr. Wonnop Visessanguan, Head of the Grant Intelligence Unit<\/p>\n

6. Prof. Thananya Boonyasirinant, M.D., Director of the Siriraj Excellence in Imaging Center (SiEIC)<\/p>\n

The two-day seminar served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, collaborative planning, and strategic alignment\u2014setting the stage for the next phase of innovation and excellence across all SiCORE units and research entities at Siriraj.<\/p>\n
