{"id":9091,"date":"2018-01-30T08:30:56","date_gmt":"2018-01-30T08:30:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/?p=9091"},"modified":"2018-02-08T06:16:33","modified_gmt":"2018-02-08T06:16:33","slug":"mentor-lecture-session-simulation-in-healthcare-make-it-practical-on-30th-january-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.si.mahidol.ac.th\/en\/news-events\/mentor-lecture-session-simulation-in-healthcare-make-it-practical-on-30th-january-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Mentor Lecture Session &#8220;Simulation in Healthcare: Make It Practical&#8221; On\u00a030th January\u00a02018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Conference 2018,<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Mentor Lecture Session\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>Simulation in Healthcare: Make It Practical\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This conference is a\u00a0side meeting of The Prince Mahidol Award Conference, which is an annual international conference hosted by the Royal Thai Government, the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation and co-hosted by distinguished partners.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Conference 2018, we had five young physician scholars from the year 2015 presented their work and experiences. They also presented their plans for extending the benefits of their projects to the Thai people and the world as a whole.\u00a0This program aims to facilitate such collaboration and networking for researchers, community developers and clinical practitioners in their chosen fields.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We take this opportunity to thank\u00a0<strong>Associate Professor Roy Phitayakorn\u00a0<\/strong>for supervising one of our Prince Mahidol Award Youth Scholars, and for sharing with us today his experiences in the topic\u00a0<strong>\u201cInter-Professional Team Training to Improve Non-Technical Skill \u2013 a Successful Story from Our Learning Lab\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0the workshop on non-technical skill\u00a0<\/strong>together with<strong>\u00a0Dr. Praelada Wongsirimeteekul,\u00a0<\/strong>one of our Prince Mahidol Award Youth Scholars 2015.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>We will also have the Visiting Professors and Thai pioneers in this field to share their work and experiences including<strong>\u00a0Professor John O\u2019Donnell and Assistant Professor Usapan Surabenjawong\u00a0<\/strong>in the topic \u201c<strong>Effective Debriefing \u2013 Are We There Yet?<\/strong>\u201d,\u00a0<strong>Assistant Professor Borwon Wittayachamnankul\u00a0<\/strong>in the topic \u201c<strong>Team Work Training and Interdisciplinary Education in Simulation<\/strong>\u201d,\u00a0<strong>Associate Professor Polpun Boonmak and Dr. Poom Tritrakarn\u00a0<\/strong>in the topic \u201c<strong>Current Situation and Future Direction of Simulation in Thailand<\/strong>\u201d. This session is co-hosted by\u00a0<strong>Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
