On August 1st, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, was honored to welcome Professor Scott D. Nelson, MD, formerly of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Prof. Nelson was welcomed by Professor Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean, together with the International Program Team. The primary focus of the visit was a collaborative meeting on the International Medical Program at Siriraj, aimed at fostering academic cooperation and strengthening global medical education.

In addition, Prof. Nelson toured the Golden Jubilee Medical Center and was introduced to the Si-Next Project, reflecting Siriraj’s continued commitment to innovation in medical training and healthcare delivery in the international level.

This academic exchange reaffirms Siriraj’s dedication to advancing medical education and research through international partnership and collaboration.
