Application Procedure

The applicant must submit an application attached with related documents to the department (1-2 month before depart date). The department will submit it to the Deputy Dean of Post-Graduate Education for the consideration process of the Siriraj Graduate Studies committee

Qualification for Applicant

• Applicant must be Graduate Student from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital
• Must pass thesis proposal examination (for M.Sc. Student)  or pass Qualifying Examination (for Ph.D. Student) and not be an RGJ-Ph.D. Scholarship Recipient
• Must be 1st Author in Abstract
• Must be accepted to present at the conference

• Submission Letter from Department which are approved by chairman and program director
• Application attached with 1” photo.
• Transcript which is first semester grade is appeared.
• Recommendation letter from Head of Department.
• Acceptance letter from partner university/institute.

Qualification

Qualifications for Inbound Student

• Have a match qualification which is specified in MOU between institution/university
• Applicant must be graduate student from partner institute/university
• Applicant must be well-behaved, team player and activist graduate student, which be approved by a recommendation
• Letter from the head of department
• Applicant must be accepted to enroll the program/research for 3 months at least before apply scholarship
• Applicant must passed an English Proficiency Score as required by home institute/university in the MOU or minimum
• Requirement as following;
  • TOEFL (Internet-based) score of 54 or
  • IELTS score of 6 or others equivalent English proficiency test score

M.Sc. : 6,000 Baht:Month, Duration: 2 Year
Ph.D. : 7,000 Baht:Month, Duration: 3 Year

Qualification

1. Applicants must have a GPA before applying of the scholarship, which not lower than 3.25 (of 4.00 or equivalent) for undergraduate level to continue their study in master program, and not lower than 3.50 (of 4.00 or equivalent) for postgraduate levels to continue their study in Ph.D. program.
2. Applicants must have a good summary of admission test in specialized subject(s) and must have good English proficiency test score according to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University’s requirement, as follows;   
   1. Ph.D. program applicant must take one of following English Proficiency Test not more 
      than 2 years before the date of application, and must obtain at least  
      1. TOEFL IBT (Internet-based) score of 61, or
      2. TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program) score of 500, from the testing 
                program organized by either the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol 
                University, or by any institutes certified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, 
                Mahidol University, or      
      3. IELTS score of 5
   2. Master program applicant must take one of following English Proficiency Test, not more 
      than 2 years before the date of application, and must obtain at least  
      1. TOEFL IBT (Internet-based) score of 54, or
      2. TOEFL ITP (Institutional Testing Program) score of 480 from the testing 
                program organized by either the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol 
                University, or by any institutes certified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, 
                Mahidol University, or      
      3. IELTS score of 5, or
      4. MU Grad Test score of 60
3. Special consideration will be given for the applicants who were selected by their government institution.
4. Finalized scholarship consideration will be under the Siriraj Graduate Studies Committee.

This scholarship is intended to provide education to distant students, in particular those from Southeast or East Asia to pursue their studies at the M.Sc. in Medical Science and Training levels. Each scholarship covers credit registration fee and residential for three years or upper -depends on duration of training.

Qualifications for Applicant

•  Applicant must be clinician from government hospital/university with GPAX ≥ 3.0 and have a contract with government
• Applicant must have English proficiency test’s score as following:
  • TOEFL
    • TOEFL Paper Based > 470 or
    • TOEFL Computer Based >150 or
    • TOEFL Internet Based  > 52 or
    • TOEFL-ITP > 470  which Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University approved
  • IELTS > 4.5 or
  • MU-Test (Mahidol University Test) > 40

• Applicant from CLMV Group (Cambodia, Lao, Myanmar and Vietnam) will be 1st priority
