Research Profile

My research focuses on cellular cancer immunotherapy and autophagy, particularly the development and engineering of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells and bispecific peotein engagers platforms targeting breast and colorectal cancers. My work integrates tumor-associated and tumor-specific antigen discovery, neoantigen identification through whole genome and transcriptome sequencing, and immune modulation strategies to enhance anti-tumor efficacy. I have developed SmartDC-based T cell activation systems and pioneered fifth-generation CAR T (CAR5) approaches incorporating immune checkpoint modulation and secreted scFvs. In parallel, I investigate the role of autophagy in cancer progression and therapeutic response, including its integration with immunotherapy platforms. I am also establishing 3D patient-derived organoid (PDOs) and organoid biobank platforms to support translational and personalized cancer immunotherapy research.
