Our research involves a wide range of investigations into cellular engineering and the differentiation of stem cells, utilizing advanced single-cell omic technologies. Through the collaborative integration of these disciplines, our objective is to innovate new approaches within the field of regenerative medicine.
Cellular engineering
Subtypes of cancer-infiltrating lymphocytes (CILs) are proposed to predict prognosis of patients in several cancers by modulating the anti-tumour immune responses.
Single-cell omics
Employing single-cell sequencing technologies to examine the transcriptomic and epigenetic landscape of cells within a heterogeneous sample, revealing novel regulatory networks that could serve as potential therapeutic targets.
Stem cell differentiation
- Pluripotent stem cell differentiations into human pancreatic islets, aimed at cell replacement therapy for Type I diabetes.
- Utilizing stem cell-derived islets to investigate the pathophysiology of diabetes and establish platforms for modeling autoimmunity in type I diabetes.
Cellular engineering
Applying gene editing and cellular engineering techniques to study the causal effects of genetic factors on tissue development and disease progression.
Single-cell omics
Employing single-cell sequencing technologies to examine the transcriptomic and epigenetic landscape of cells within a heterogeneous sample, revealing novel regulatory networks that could serve as potential therapeutic targets.
