About the Conference

Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) has gained growing global attention over the past decade for its important contributions to health promotion, disease prevention, and holistic healthcare. TCIM emphasizes a balanced approach to health by integrating the body, mind, and environment, and aligns with the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025 - 2034, which encourages the safe, effective, and sustainable integration of traditional medicine into national healthcare systems.

Across the region, TCIM continues to expand in key areas, including research and innovation, enhancement of quality standards for herbal products, development of service quality assurance systems, and strengthening of collaborative networks. These advancements are helping to position TCIM as an essential part of modern healthcare systems, supporting efficiency, sustainability, and patient-centered care. International conferences play a vital role in fostering the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices among experts from different countries, while also strengthening academic and strategic collaboration.

The Siriraj Center of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (Si-CATTM), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, is dedicated to integrating Thai traditional medical knowledge with modern healthcare systems. The Center actively promotes research, knowledge development, and health innovation based on Thai wisdom, with a strong commitment to quality and internationally recognized standards. Si-CATTM also serves as a hub for collaboration and knowledge exchange among national and international TCIM networks.

In line with this mission, Si-CATTM is pleased to jointly organize the Siriraj Traditional Medicine Conference 2026 (SiTMC 2026) in collaboration with the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM), the Global University Network of Traditional Medicine (GUNTM), and partner universities in Thailand.

Under the theme “Transforming Traditional Medicine into the Future of Healthcare,” SiTMC 2026 will bring together traditional medicine practitioners, researchers, educators, and healthcare professionals from around the world. The conference provides a platform to share experiences, showcase innovations, and explore the evolving role of traditional medicine in global healthcare systems—while fostering meaningful partnerships for the future.
