                   Participation in the Regional Prosthetics and Orthotics Faculty Leaders Conference & Training 2025
From 21st to 24th October 2025, Ms. Paporn Chokpitiboon, Assistant Instructor, and Ms. Thanakorn Thammakornsuksiri, Deputy Director for Clinical Services, participated in the Regional Prosthetics and Orthotics Faculty Leaders Conference & Training 2025, held at SLSPO, Ragama Rehabilitation Hospital, Sri Lanka.
This event, organized by Exceed Worldwide with the The Nippon Foundation, brought together prosthetics and orthotics faculty leaders and professionals from regional schools across Asia. The program included discussions on curriculum development, research collaboration, and best practices in prosthetic and orthotic education — along with an Advanced Adolescent Scoliosis Management Training workshop. Representatives from various schools of prosthetics and orthotics ,shared experiences and insights to strengthen academic and professional collaboration in the region.

 

การเข้าร่วมประชุม Regional Prosthetics and Orthotics Faculty Leaders Conference & Training 2025 ระหว่างวันที่ 21 – 24 ตุลาคม 2568 นางสาวภาพร โชคปิติบูรณ์ ผู้ช่วยอาจารย์ และ นางสาวธนกร ธรรมกรสุขศิริ รองผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนฯ ฝ่ายงานบริการ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม Regional Prosthetics and Orthotics Faculty Leaders Conference & Training 2025 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่ Ragama Rehabilitation Hospital เมืองรากามะ ประเทศศรีลังกา การประชุมดังกล่าวจัดโดยองค์กร Exceed Worldwide และ The Nippon Foundation มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือ แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ และพัฒนามาตรฐานการเรียนการสอนด้านกายอุปกรณ์ในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ภายในงานมีผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์จากโรงเรียนกายอุปกรณ์จากหลายประเทศเข้าร่วม รวมถึงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการในหัวข้อ Advanced Adolescent Scoliosis Management เพื่อพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และทักษะทางคลินิก การเข้าร่วมการประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาทางด้านกายอุปกรณ์ให้ก้าวหน้ายิ่งขึ้น

We are proud to share that Asst. Prof. Dr. Kazuhiko Sasaki has contributed to a newly published research article in the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part H: Journal of Engineering in Medicine. “Structural Integrity and Failure of Transfemoral Prosthetic Socket Fabricated Using Carbon Prepreg Technique: Influence of Fiber Orientation and Curing Conditions.” This study provides valuable insights into how fiber orientation and curing conditions influence the strength, integrity, and safety of carbon fiber laminate transfemoral prosthetic sockets, offering practical guidance for simplifying fabrication procedures and advancing prosthetic design and clinical performance.
