Established in 2002, Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics & Orthotics (SSPO) is a pioneering institution that offers top-quality education and prosthetic services. With the support of the Nippon Foundation, we align our standards with international benchmarks. Honored by a visit from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and named in her honor, we are guided by three core principles: integrity, groundbreaking research, and compassionate service..
In 2009, we became the first in Southeast Asia to receive Level 1 certification from the International Prosthetics Organization. We’re also one of 12 accredited prosthetics schools globally, maintaining the highest standards in prosthetic education.
The Thai government’s substantial funding in 2010 empowered us to transform lives with quality prosthetics. As part of our evolution, the Faculty of Medicine recognized us as a department within the institution.
We’re not just an educational institution; we’re dedicated to making a meaningful difference. We’ve relocated the prosthetics clinic and are working on an extensive renovation project to further our mission.
Today, SSPO proudly offers two distinguished Bachelor of Prosthetics&Orthotics programs, nurturing both local and international students.
