We are proud to share that Asst. Prof. Dr. Kazuhiko Sasaki has contributed to a newly published research article in the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part H: Journal of Engineering in Medicine. “Structural Integrity and Failure of Transfemoral Prosthetic Socket Fabricated Using Carbon Prepreg Technique: Influence of Fiber Orientation and Curing Conditions.” This study provides valuable insights into how fiber orientation and curing conditions influence the strength, integrity, and safety of carbon fiber laminate transfemoral prosthetic sockets, offering practical guidance for simplifying fabrication procedures and advancing prosthetic design and clinical performance.
