The program aims to produce Master’s graduates with strong competencies in medical bioinformatics, capable of conducting research, managing data systematically, and communicating effectively and also with being ethical, responsible, and professionally competent, on account of curriculum emphasis on learning-centered and outcome-based education rooted in constructivism with wisdom building, experiential sharing, guiding and facilitating.

After graduation from this program, Master’s graduates achieve the qualifications in
accordance with the qualification standard for higher education as follows
1. Have advanced and comprehensive knowledge in concepts and practices in bioinformatics and omics data in adapting for use in medical practices
2. Have problem-solving and critical thinking skills in conducting research in discovering new knowledge in medical bioinformatics
3. Uphold standard ethics in academics and profession
4. Respect confidentiality, communicate and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment

At the end of the program study, students will be able to

PLO1 Analyze omics data and apply biological insights using appropriate bioinformatics
tools for benefit of medical bioinformatics field
PLO2 Conduct scientific research in medical bioinformatics to answer scientific
question(s) and find new knowledge
PLO3 Work ethically and maintain the confidentiality of academic and research
information
PLO4 Communicate and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
