Siriraj Press, previously known as ‘Siriraj textbooks project’, was founded in 1973 to produce standard medical textbooks in Thai language. The name has been changed to Siriraj Press in 2015 and is under the supervision of division of academic affairs of the faculty. The publisher has the mission in order to produce and distribute high standard academic documents in various types including textbooks, journals, bulletins, leaflets and brochures in both Thai and English language to satisfy the needs from medical personnel and Thai society. Siriraj Press plans to become a major center of knowledge in the field of medicine and public health and encourage the distribution and utilization of those information. The objectives of the publisher include
: To encourage the faculty staffs to produce high quality scientific articles and textbooks
: To publish fair-price Thai textbooks and distribute the up-to-date knowledge beyond the border
: To facilitate the academic atmosphere within the faculty
: To assemble and provide the technical skills about publishing and issuing the scientific documents to other institutes inside and outside the university.
