PH.D. Programs

Since the primary aim of the Ph.D. Program is to train graduates pursuing a career as a research scientist or academic staff in the fields of immunology and biosciences. Through completion of the program, it is intended that graduates will develop a range of transferable and subject-specific skills to strengthen their career. The program curriculum has been designed to cover all aspects of developments including subject specific (coursework and a research dissertation project) and generic skills; and aligned with requirements of stakeholders. After graduation, the Ph.D. program graduates will be able to:

ELO1: Identify ethical framework and understanding which underpins research in immunology and biosciences
ELO2: Acquire and integrate in-depth knowledge and apply frontier technologies contribute to the area of immunology and biosciences
ELO3: Critically design experiments, analyze, and interpret data for scientific publication in internationally recognized peer-reviewed scientific journals
ELO4: Achieve soft skills including leadership, responsibility and life-longed learner manner benefit for their career
ELO5: Construct good scientific writing, presentation and interacted communication skills to academic society; be able to critically discuss scientific data
ELO6: Master professional laboratory skill, biosafety standard and pursue productive selfdirected research within the area of immunology and biosciences
