Published On February 26, 2018, Professor Prasert Assantachai, Deputy Dean and Head of Geriatric Medicine along with the faculty staffs from Division of Geriatric Medicine welcomed Professor Hidetoshi Endo, Director of Department of Comprehensive Geriatric Medicine and Dr. Yuichi Kitagawa, National Center for Geriatric and Gerontology, Japan, to visit Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
On this occasion, Professor Assantachai and Professor Endo delivered the lecture on “How to Treat Dementia in Elderly: Lesson Learn in Japan” for healthy volunteers and caregivers in their communities. This campaign is settled at Samutsakhon province with the contribution of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and the Ministry of Public Health in order to raise the awareness of the so-called “Long-Term Care” as Thailand will be moving into Aged Society in 2022.
And on the evening of February 27, 2018, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital hosted the complimentary dinner for Professor Hidetoshi Endo and Dr. Yuichi Kitagawa at Wind Water View Restaurant, Wang Lang.
