Published On September 23rd, 2019, Lecturer Dr. Susan Assanasen welcome twenty delegations consisting of doctors and nurses from Greater Mekong Subregion Health Security Project (GMS HS), Ministry of Health and Sports, Myanmar, to attend ‘Siriraj International Short Training Program in Infection Prevention Control (IPC)’ between September 23rd – 27th, 2019. The objective of the program is to strengthen and build the capacity in IPC to the healthcare staffs from 12 target hospitals of five states and regions located on the borders and economic corridors of Myanmar.
The Greater Mekong Health Security Project is a five-year regional project, which includes Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, and Vietnam, all of these countries are part of the Greater Mekong Sub-region. The impact of the project will improve the capacities in infection prevention and control (IPC) to the Greater Mekong Subregion healthcare staffs.
