Published On Monday, February 19, 2024, the Center of Research Excellence and the Siriraj Center of Research Excellence in Metabolomic and Systems Biology (SiCORE-MSB) had the distinct honor of engaging in a fruitful discussion with Emeritus Professor Jeremy Nicholson, Pro Vice Chancellor of Health Sciences and Executive Director of the Australian National Phenome Centre (ANPC) at Murdoch University, who serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) in SiCORE-MSB. Joining him were his esteemed colleagues: Professor Julien Wist, Deputy Director of the ANPC, and Professor Elaine Holmes, Head of Computational and Systems Medicine at the ANPC.
Representing the Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Assist. Prof. Dr. Woraphat Ratta-apha, Head of the Center of Research Excellence, and Prof. Oranee Sanmaneechai, Assoc. Prof. Prawej Mahawithitwong and Assist. Prof. Tachjaree Panchalee Boonbowornpong, Deputy Head of the Center of Research Excellence, actively participated and provided introductions during the meeting.
The teleconference delved into comprehensive discussions regarding the group’s research direction, accompanied by presentations of research outcomes by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakda Khoomrung, the Director of SiCORE-MSB. The Center of Research Excellence extends our profound appreciation to Emeritus Professor Jeremy Nicholson and two representatives from ANPC for their outstanding support and active involvement.
