Published On August 8th, 2024, Siriraj Hospital’s Pharmacy Department hosted three Pharm.D students from the University of Arizona and Kobe Pharmaceutical University. This international collaboration provided valuable insights into public hospital pharmacy practice in Thailand.
The day-long program featured sessions on pharmacy operations, ADR monitoring and prevention, peritoneal dialysis, ward pharmacist activities, inpatient cytotoxic drug admixture, and the Drug Information and Poison Control Center. Expert teams from the Pharmacy Division of Siriraj Hospital led each session, offering a comprehensive overview of pharmaceutical services. This chance strengthened international ties and promoted cross-cultural understanding in pharmaceutical practice in Thailand.
