This program is sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs under Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Scheme. ITEC nations can apply for the current program through their embassies.
The program aims to develop skills and competencies of public health professionals in the areas of leadership, team building, planning, monitoring, evaluation, project management, resource allocation, quality management and public health communication towards addressing public health challenges and strengthening the efficiency of individuals and their organizations.
