Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, along with a team of representatives included Assoc. Prof. Thawornchai Limjindaporn, Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Education; Prof. Manee Rattanachaiyanont, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; and Assoc. Prof. Warut Pongsapich, Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Education, welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Health, Lao PDR to discuss collaboration in postgraduate medical education.
The Lao delegation was led by Dr. Phouvang Sengmuang, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Health Sciences, and included Dr. Thavone Chanthasone, Deputy Dean; Dr. Nuansy Keovanpheng, Head of the Division of Health Education Management and Training; Mrs. Manivone Silivanh, and Dr. Southida Vilayvieng, Technical Staffs from the Department of Health Personnel.
The meeting, held in Meeting Room 1, Administration Building, 3rd Floor, focused on enhancing collaboration to upgrade Lao health workers through residency and fellowship training programs, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing medical education and healthcare standards in the region.
