Published On March 23rd, 2023, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, the President of Mahidol University, along with Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, the Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), presided over the opening ceremony and signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the collaboration in curriculum development, teaching, academic activities, and research for a co-developed new minor study program called “Minor in Designing Health Innovations”!
The “Minor in Designing Health Innovations” is created for MUIC undergraduate students and consists of five subjects: “Community Health Innovations”; “Design Thinking in Health”; “Case Studies in Health Innovations”; “Cutting-Edge Technology for Health Innovations”; and “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Science”. These five courses will enhance the students’ creativity and entrepreneurial mindset and gradually transform them into innovators with a culmination of medicine, health, and wellness knowledge!
