Published On February 6th – 8th, 2023, Prof.Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, along with Assoc. Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, were invited to attend the “3rd International Symposium on Clinical Research/Trials & Joint ARISE-AFRICA Symposium: Addressing the Shortage of Physician-Scientists and Clinical Trial Professionals” in Tokyo, Japan.
On this occasion, Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul delivered a special lecture on the topic “Raising Clinical Research Awareness As Early As Possible at the Medical School. Is It Necessary? Is It the Time? Mahidol University’s Efforts, Thoughts, and Opinion.” And Assoc. Prof. Sith Sathornsumetee delivered on the topic “Shortage of Clinical Research Professionals.”
In 2024, the 2nd ARISE (Academic Research Organization Alliance for ASEAN & East Asia) annual meeting will be held at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
