Published On May 28th, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Nantthasorn Zinboonyahgoon, M.D., attended the “Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly (WHA77)” in Geneva, Switzerland. Assoc. Prof. Zinboonyahgoon represented the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) at this significant global health forum.
In addition to participating in the main assembly, Assoc. Prof. Zinboonyahgoon was also invited to be a panelist with representatives from WHO, WFSA, WRA, and Rwanda at the side event titled “Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Health for All Means Pain Care for All.” This event was co-hosted by the IASP and the World Federation of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA) for a panel discussion on current approaches for better diagnosis and management of pain in various countries that serve as models worldwide!
