Published During November 1st – 4th, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Suwattanee Kooptiwut, M.D., Ph.D., an instructor of the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended and presented a poster at ‘The 10th Federation of the Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies Congress (FAOPS 2023)’ in Daegu, Korea. Assoc. Prof. Kooptiwut‘s participation at the event is expected to yield significant benefits for the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, leading to the exploration of new research topics in physiology and the acquisition of fresh knowledge for Siriraj’s graduate students.
The FAOPS 2023 is a congress where the experts gather and share the latest knowledge and information in the diverse areas of the physiological sciences. FAOPS was established in 1990 and consists of 15 full members and 3 associate members, and holds the Congress every four years. This federation has contributed to the professional exchange and the development of physiological scientific research in the Asia and Oceania area. The FAOPS 2023 congress provided valuable networking opportunities and inspiring presentations for the delegates. This event will set the stage for further cooperation among professionals from all over the world.
