Ms. Utairat Meeudompong, Pharm.D., a pharmacist from the Sterile Production Unit, Pharmacy Department, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended “The 29th Congress of the Asia-Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group (APBMT)” in Singapore, held from October 10th – 13th, 2024 to present a research poster titled “Chemical stability and sterility of Plerifor® (Plerixafor) solution for injection after opening single-use vial”. This congress provided Pharmacist Meeudompong with an opportunity to exchange insights with global experts, with the aim of integrating this knowledge into clinical practice at Siriraj Hospital.
The 29th Annual Congress of the APBMT Group, themed “Harnessing the Immune System”, is a scientific meeting enabling all professionals interested in blood and marrow transplantation and other blood cell therapies within the region to present their research findings and share information and attend the state-of-the-art educational symposia. Networking to plan or review collaborative studies, APBMT working group activities, and meeting with industry representatives to discuss their initiatives are other important activities during this meeting.
