Prof. Thammawat Parakonthun, M.D., a Lecturer from the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit in the Division of General Surgery at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended and delivered an oral presentation at the 96th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Gastric Cancer Association in Kyoto, Japan. His presentation, titled “Higher Compliance with ERAS Protocol Improves Recovery and Mortality in Esophageal-Gastric Surgery,” highlighted the benefits of adhering to the ERAS protocol in upper gastrointestinal surgery.
