Prof. Sahatsa Mandee, M.D., of the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the ‘International Symposium on Pediatric Pain 2023’ in Halifax, Canada, and delivered a poster presentation on the topic “Prevalence of Moderate to Severe, Risk Factor and Treatment of Procedural Pain in Pediatric Patients at a Tertiary Care University Hospital.”
The International Symposium on Pediatric Pain is the premier, interdisciplinary conference on pain in infants, children, and adolescents. It attracts a global audience of pediatricians, anesthetists, clinicians, researchers, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, as well as professionals and scholars from other disciplines. ISPP 2023 provided attendees with the latest research in the management of acute, procedural, and chronic pain. The ISPP 2023 is the most well-attended symposium in the IASP Pain in Childhood Special Interest Group’s history, with 526 registrants from 47 countries for this International Symposium on Pediatric Pain.
