Published Prof. Prasert Assantachai, M.D., M.R.C.P., F.R.C.P., from the Division of Geriatric Medicine, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, attended the ‘Annual Meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) Clinical Consortium on Healthy Ageing’ at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, the Swiss Confederation, from December 5th – 7th, 2023. Prof. Assantachai served as the Chairperson of the ‘Breakout Session for Care Pathway of Social Care and Support.’
The WHO Clinical Consortium on Healthy Ageing is a group of global experts that advances research and clinical practice related to Healthy Ageing. The Consortium does this by sharing data, undertaking new analysis on intrinsic capacity and its implications for clinical practice, evaluating clinical interventions to foster Healthy Ageing, and building the capacity of healthcare professionals on Healthy Ageing.
