Published On May 8th, 2023, Prof. Vip Viprakasit, Professor of the Division of Hematology & Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, and the Program Director for thalassemia research at the Siriraj-Thalassaemia Center was invited as a guest speaker to share his unparalleled expertise with over 20 years of experience in molecular medicine, working on several hematological conditions, particularly thalassemia, and over 100 peer-reviewed articles in Science, Lancet, PNAS, Blood, and so on. Prof. Vip provided the audience with his insight on the topic “Conventional management of alpha thalassemia,” at the Webinar “Thalassemia Today. Cure, Care, and Research. Celebrating successes and addressing persistent unmet needs in Thalassemia” commemorating “World Thalassemia Day” which hosted by Thalassemia Reports.
