Congratulations to The Laboratory of Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, for being accepted as an “Accredited Laboratory in the Field of Medical Laboratory complying with ISO 15190: 2020” by The Bureau of Laboratory Quality Standards (BLQS-DMSc), Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, validated from October 6^th, 2021 – October 5^th, 2025.

The Bureau of Laboratory Quality Standards (BLQS) is the government organization that acts as the national accreditation body for all medical and public health laboratories (or consumer protection), including laboratories engaged in clinical testing and health products testing activities. BLQS was approved to be a full member and signatory to Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) MRA for testing on November 14^th, 2002, medical testing on April 18^th, 2007, and reference material producer on June 17th, 2014. Bureau of Laboratory Quality Standards became a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) MRA on April 4^th, 2003. BLQS shall grant accreditation to laboratory and reference material producers complying with the international standards ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189, ISO 15190, ISO 22870, and ISO 17034 as long as it meets the Thai legal and official requirements.
