Siriraj Visits the University of Edinburgh to Explore Medical Education and Research Collaboration

On November 15th, 2024, our team from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, visited the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh to foster collaboration in medical education, technology, and research.

The visiting team included Assoc. Prof. Sith Sathornsumethee, Deputy Dean for Research; Assoc. Prof. Prapat Suriyapol, Deputy Dean for Information & Technology; Assoc. Prof. Tripop Lertbannapong, Deputy Dean for Undergraduate Education; and Assoc. Prof. Kanokwaroon Wattananirun, Assistant Dean for International Relations.

In this opportunity, our team was warmly welcomed by University of Edinburgh including Prof. Rebecca Reynolds, International Dean, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine; Prof. Liz Baggs, Dean of Research; Prof. Gill Aitken, Director of Postgraduate Medical Education; Prof. Karen Fairhurst, Professor of Student Learning in Primary Care; and Prof. Jacques Fleuriot, Director of Internationalisation, School of Informatics.
