Who is eligible for our short training program?
Minimum Education: Completion of a Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent in a related field.
English Proficiency: Minimum intermediate level (CEFR B2).
Our customizable short training program is designed for healthcare professionals holding a valid medical or healthcare license who seek short-term training of less than one year. If applicants interested in our International Exchange Program—which is exclusively available to medical students, residents, and fellows—should go to our Inbound page for more information.

Please note: We do not accept applications for high school shadowing opportunities.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for our customizable international short training courses at Siriraj, please follow these steps:
1. Prepare the Required Documents
Ensure all documents are prepared in a formal manner and converted into PDF files.
2. Submit Your Application
E-mail the completed documents to siiro@mahidol.ac.th
Required Documents:
1. Letter of Intention: The letter must feature your organization’s logo/emblem and be addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. It should include the following details:
– Training objectives
– Preferred start date and duration (as this is a customizable, non-regular course, applicant may propose any dates*. However, the final schedule will be set by the committee).
* Note: Training sessions are scheduled on a weekday basis, Monday to Friday, excluding Thai national public holidays, which may affect your schedule if they coincide with your proposed dates.
– Desired field of training
– Source of funding (specify your sponsor, or indicate “self-funding” if applicable)
– Authentic handwritten signature by the applicant (Electronic signatures are not accepted).
2. Curriculum Vitae (C.V.)
3. Letter of Recommendation: This letter must include your organization’s logo/emblem and be addressed to the Dean, similar to the Letter of Intention. It should endorse the applicant’s training objectives and bear an authentic handwritten signature from the applicant’s supervisor (Electronic signatures are not accepted)

Important Notes
– Submit all application documents to the International Relations Division at least four months in advance!
– Training Fees may apply upon acceptance.
– Funding Requirements: To maintain a smooth application process and minimize disruptions, applicants must secure all necessary funding prior to submission.
– Cancellation Policy: Last-minute cancellations impact scheduling and resources. Applicants who fail to comply with the funding requirement or cancel at the last minute will face indefinite disqualification from future applications.
– English Proficiency: Applicants are expected to have practical English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
– Electronic signatures are not accepted on any document!
Non-compliance with these guidelines will result in application disqualification without further notice.
