Published On March 4th, 2019, Prof. Emeritus Pakit Vichyanond, Director, Samitivej Allergy Institute (SAI) along with Dr. Surangkana Techapaitoon, Deputy CEO of Samitivej Hospital, Prof. Dr. Prasert Auewarakul, Deputy Dean of Research, Asst.Prof. Punchama Pacharn and Lecturer Witchaya Srisuwatchari from Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital joined handed together for signing the MOU between Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, The Samitivej Allergy Institute and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The MOU initially highlighted the collaboration on research in the wheat allergy (epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment).
The group from Siriraj and SAI received a warm welcome by Dr. Dennis Charney, Dean of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Dr. Scott Sicherer, the current Director of the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at Mount Sinai
