Published The 13th edition of the Siriraj International Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, and Immunology Competition 2024 took place from January 18th – 21st, 2024 at the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital. On January 18th, 2024, Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of SIMPIC 2024, alongside executive members such as Assoc. Prof. Ratthapon Tuangthong, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Pittaya Dankulchai from the Department of Radiology. Over 20 teams from 7 different countries participated in this competition.
This event serves as a central platform for aspiring medical students to showcase their expertise, fostering meaningful connections within the scientific community and building international friendships. With a longstanding tradition of excellence, our commitment is to advance knowledge, promote collaboration, and drive progress in the crucial disciplines of medical microbiology, parasitology, and immunology.
