Published On November 29th, 2023, the Siriraj delegation, under the leadership of Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, continued their substantive visit to the Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC). Today’s highlight was the ‘PKUHSC – Siriraj Joint Symposium’ where four distinguished Siriraj representatives actively engaged in delivering insightful lectures on various topics:
Prof. Yongyut Siriwattanaaksorn, Director of Siriraj Hospital, discussed “Siriraj’s Proteomics & Metabolomics.”
Assoc. Prof. Pittaya Dankulchai from the Department of Radiology presented “Recent Radiotherapy for Cancers at Siriraj.”
Prof. Vip Viprakasit from the Department of Pediatrics shared advancements in “Pediatric Hematology at Siriraj.”
The symposium concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Asavamongkolkul, emphasizing the academic collaboration between Siriraj and PKUHSC. Post-symposium, the Siriraj delegation strategically integrated a brief visit to the Great Wall of China, not only as a historical excursion but also as a symbolic moment to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
